What a Difference a Day Makes!

I guess this happens for most wedding photographers. Perhaps some more than others;). Once in a while, I come across couples that are such a blast to work with, giving me the opportunities to capture moments and shots that I can sometimes only dream of getting.

I met such an opportunity yesterday whilst shooting Lee Yon and Angie’s wedding. What an amazing couple they were! It may not have been pomp and pagentry, but it certainly marked their love for one another. It was a wedding planned to the finest detail, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Seeing them so happy and comfortable with each other (and a little tipsy haha) made me feel even more inspired to record their happiness in finest form.

What a stark contrast to my mood the day before when I met videographer-from-hell:(

To Lee Yon and Angie, if you ever read this blog – Thanks for giving me the privilege to cover your wedding as the photographer. I just hope that the images (haven’t really started processing them yet:)) are able to portray the love and joy I felt on your special day. I wish the very best for you, and may you have a long, happy and everlasting marriage!

Yushin, we are honoured to have you as our friend and wedding photographer. And we are
confident that the photos will turn out well with your hallmark artistry. We are grateful that
you went out of your way for our outdoor shoot.

Also, there is a difference between taking wedding photos with someone whom
we know as a friend rather than a stranger because it makes us feel more relaxed,
open to sharing with one another.
