Ho Ho Ho
Busy, busy, busy. Been busy over the Christmas weekend…I think I need to manage my time a bit better, just need to figure out how.
Anyway, belated Merry Christmas!

Anyway, belated Merry Christmas!
Here I am at 2am in the morning, after a long full day wedding, downloading images from the cards to my PC. Tomorrow…oh wait, today, got another one and I need to reach there at 7:30am! Download is really slow. I gotta think of some other way to get the files into the PC faster.
Anyway, here’s pic from today that jumped out at me whilst I am still downloading…more from HP and Fanny’s wedding later on. I really want to talk about how wonderful and generous they are…in another post when I have time later! In meantime, till 23rd Dec…that’s my last wedding for a memorable 2006!

These couple of months have been full of milestones for me. Today marked another important one, albeit a bitter-sweet one at that.

Sweet because I’m now officially an MR (mindef reserve, for the un-initiated
) personnel after today’s MR ceremony in camp. That means that I no longer need to do IPPT, inform mindef when i travel overseas, maintain my full pack yada yada…that’s like the most cool thing!!
Bitter because I’m gonna miss the friendships and camaraderie of my buddies whom I’ve served with for the past 10 odd years. I’m gonna miss the tough times, the happy times and the times we spent bitching about the SAF even though it’s come really far since the 1st in-camp (perhaps just not as fast as how we are accustomed to in the commercial world).
I guess that’s part of life – 天下没有不散之宴席. I just hope that as we move on, the guys will still maintain the links that we’ve built up over the years.
