it's not the pictures, it's the memories.

I kept seeing this phrase in Wee Kiang and Jie Ling’s slideshow at dinner. I thought it was quite interesting for me, since mine is quite an adventure now . Anyway, this wedding was from some time ago (before I left for Bali). I’m just catching up on some of the weddings that I did not get to post because of the year-end workload. Wee Kiang and Jie Ling’s courtship is one of those marathon ones, having been together since their JC days! Here’s to a fun couple, who allowed me to try all sorts of stuff – photography-speaking, of course!

The air was crisp, the wind was light. The sun was just peeking out behind the thick clouds. I slipped into my asics this evening for the first time in the past 5 months. I haven’t been running regularly since work started to get crazy the past few months. And what a run it was! 10km in just under an hour. It’s no MR25 timing, but it was great to be able to do that after a 5-month break . Could almost feel my heart popping out – but fortunately, it didn’t. Otherwise, Elvin and Jennifer would be without a photographer tomorrow .

There are quite a few weddings that I would like to blog about. Just 2 more weddings to go over tomorrow and Saturday, and I can get about looking through those images (and obviously to clear my backlog next week).

I think it was a good move not to take any engagements today . It’s been a good day – finishing my 10K run, signing 2 new clients and spending precious time with the family. 5 more hours to another interesting wedding!

I had wanted to blog about SK and Mingfen’s wedding for a while cos this wedding was one of the 4 that I shot in a row at the end of November…but somehow, it just got delayed (and delayed). Oh well, better late than never I guess. It’d been a while since I met SK and Mingfen (after they signed with me) and I hadn’t realised back then that Mingfen actually looks a little bit like Joanne Peh…I wonder if she gets that a lot
