Time flies. It’s hard to fathom that I shot Alfred and Claire’s solemnization at the Raffles Hotel more than a year ago. It seemed like just yesterday when I was there at Raffles Lawn covering their event.
Our paths did cross again on Friday when I got the chance to document the wedding day. I wasn’t sure that it was going to happen initially because I was already shooting Jason and Angie’s wedding (next post) on the day that Claire originally wanted. I’m glad that it did eventually happen cos Claire moved her wedding day, and everything worked out quite well!
Here are some of the images from their highlights for today’s lunch…

Sorry for the rather belated entry but as they say it is better to be late than never.
Both Claire and myself thought you did an excellent job for our actual day wedding photos. To us, a great wedding photographer has 3 traits – an uncanny eye for the details, empathy for the nervous couple and loads of patience. I think you scored on all 3 counts. It says a lot that we chose you to capture our ROM. It says even more that we chose you again to capture our AD. I think we must have met no less than 7 photographers before deciding on you (again). And the ultimate? We changed our AD date and wanted to revert to the original date (our bad), which was already taken by another couple. So we stayed put on the new date because we wanted you as photographer.
We cant get enough watching the wedding highlights. We can actually feel the joy and each time it ends, I turn to Claire and say, “This guy is good…”

hey guys, THANK YOU so much for posting that comment. I’m not good with compliments, but I really appreciate what you’ve done for me. Just remember that I can only catch the moments but it’s you guys who create them!
