Tommie and Joanne

I spent a rainy day with Tommie and Joanne some time ago shooting their bridals – just never got around to posting the images. I’ve finally found a window of opportunity to do it since I have a couple of hours to go before catching my flight to Hong Kong. We’re finally getting a family break – officially – without any shoots heh ;) . I’m still bringing work though cos the backlog is too scary!

Anyway, Tommie and Joanne are a really cool couple – willing to try all sorts of stunts I tried to pull. Thanks guys for a great day!

A Workshop with Huy

I spent 2 days last week attending Huy’s workshop in Singapore. Whilst I don’t think everything he shared applies to my style of shooting, there were some important lessons learnt for me – especially the part about the story I want to convey in the images that I make – and that good photographers make good money hah! I think it has kind of rubbed off on me (the part about conveying the story!) because I realised that I’ve started to look for different things now in my images – starting with yesterday’s wedding. I’m also a lot more clear about what I’m trying to say with the composition. Besides, I had lots of fun hanging out with the other WPN photographers, as well as some of the other participants – both local and overseas. So all in all, I’d say it’s time well spent at the workshop!

Better photos = More $! ;)

New Look Redux

I’ve changed the look of this blog again because I was thinking of posting bigger images, and the old theme was restricting that a bit. This one should do better, although I think it’s one heck of a common template heh ;)

Better go sleep – Huy’s seminar starts early tomorrow!
