Tiny Just Grew A Little Larger

It’s probably not news to most people since I’ve had Dino shoot weddings as a photographer for a couple of months. And so I’m making it official here on moi blog (sorry to disappoint, #3 is not on the way heh!). The other “uncle” brings with him a wealth of experience shooting weddings and a creative eye to boot! I’m quite excited at the possibilities that this addition will bring to clients :) . You can catch his works at the Tinydot website.

So as part of this “official launch”, we’re offering an exceptional, big value, never-to-be-seen-again, once-in-a-lifetime limited offer for wedding day photography by Dino for his last remaining slots for 2009. Mail for pricing details at info@tinydotphotography.com

Offer whilst slots last ;)

Iman and Iva

It’s been a while since I last shot a muslim wedding. I enjoy the challenge of shooting a wedding that’s fresh to me. It makes me work a bit harder to bring a different perspective to what my clients are probably used to seeing in their culture. Anyway, it was a long weekend of work for me with the wedding over 2 days. But I have to say I enjoyed every bit of it – especially dinner and the wonderful hospitality that the families have shown me. It’s been quite a while too since I laughed so much at the speeches. Thanks Iman and Iva for a good time, for being yourselves, and for trusting me to do what I do best :)

I had a tough time picking out 10 images for the blog…so I gave up and came up with a 70-image slideshow haha! Enjoy!

Oh by the way, the body’s finally given up on me stressing it day-in-day-out for the past 2 weeks. I’m down with a flu. In case anyone’s trying to reach me and I’m not answering, it’s either I’m catching up on sleep, or I’d rather you hear me in my finest voice ;)

Brisbane with Aaron and Joycelyn

To be frank, I’ve never had a shoot rain out on me whilst shooting overseas – that’s really the reason why I normally try to leave 2 days for a shoot so that I have some form of backup should inclement weather prevents us from shooting. Normally, rain, if any, will come and go and we can play hide-and-seek with the weather but this time round, it rained non-stop on our first day in Brisbane with Aaron and Joycelyn. It was truly a tough shoot, and my camera equipment got all wet and mucky. Fortunately for us, the 2nd day was amazingly bright and sunny!

Despite all of that, I had a wonderful couple in the form of Aaron and Joycelyn. Never have I seen a couple so willing to brave the elements and the gowns(!) to get the shoot going. Most of the time, they would be literally shooting in the rain. My hat really goes off to them. I realised halfway through that no matter how tough the shoot went, I owed it to them to make sure that we would get images that they will cherish. Thanks guys – for being so commited, and also for some great Vietnamese food! ;)

I really had a hard time picking images to show on the blog, so here goes!
