Tim and Tyng Yuan’s Wedding Day

I covered Tim and Tyng Yuan’s wedding day a while back but never really found the time to blog about it. It was a fairly long and tiring wedding, coupled with highlights but I enjoyed every moment of it! Also got to catch up with Caroline whose wedding I shot last year and Meifang whose wedding I’m going to be shooting later this year! It’s probably the closest I’m going to get to shooting a roomful of anesthetists :P . Here are some images from yet another awesome couple who took the time to bother with this photographer :) . Thanks guys! There’s A LOT more on facebook.

Tyng Yuan doesn’t eat “bao” where she works – it’s bad luck at the hospital…I recall her mentioning that this is the only bao she’s eaten in 2 years – and on her wedding day too!

Kelvin and Angela’s Bridals

I’m a little backlogged again in blogging. It’s been a hectic July and I’m glad – in a weird sort of way – that it’s coming to an end. Of course, I’m faced with an equally brutal schedule in August, but there’s always the Ghost Month to look forward to :) . For anyone who’s remotely waiting for wedding day images to be posted on this blog, I promise that they’ll be done soon!

Anyway, back to Kelvin and Angela’s bridals. The story goes that I wasn’t actually available to shoot Kelvin and Angela’s wedding day or bridals as I was originally booked on their wedding day. But by a stroke of luck and timing, I didn’t have to shoot a wedding in Jakarta and could pick up Kelvin and Angela’s “job”.

Our bridals actually started on a pretty good note earlier in the day – good light, extremely nice and sporting couple but the weather kind of turned on us. I still had the extremely nice and sporting Kelvin and Angela – but the sun decided to go into hiding. Oh well, at least it didn’t rain. In hindsight, it could’ve been worse because I could’ve been shooting the next day – during the partial eclipse + heavy rain! Sometimes, it’s good to be thankful for what you have ;)

And so, here are some of my favourite images from this bridal shoot, with more on Facebook. I’m really looking forward to photographing your wedding day!

Jimmy and Qinning’s Wedding Day

I’ve just managed to finish working on Jimmy and Qinning’s wedding day images. I’m hoping that perhaps I can be a bit more productive next week after I’m done with a hectic July. When I first photographed Jimmy and Qinning’s bridals, I found them to be a really cool couple and were really willing to try new stuff. I expected the same amount of energy for me to exercise my photography at their wedding day, and I wasn’t disappointed! Here’s a sneak peek and a tribute to yet another wonderful couple.
