I’ve had the good fortunate to meet many people like that, with many of them being my clients. It would be fair to say that Glenn and Angelin, like their cousins (and my former clients) Ben and Paurene rank high up there in my list of clients that I respect. I first met Angelin when I shot Ben and Paurene’s bridals in Melbourne. She came across as a vivacious lady with a big heart – one who would do everything to help someone else. I first met Glenn, then her fiance, at Ben and Paurene’s wedding in Singapore. My first impression of Glenn was that he was quite the opposite of what Angelin is. After 3 shoots, my impression has certainly changed. Glenn may be the quieter, but when he gets into the mood – he is, well, truly an ACS boy ;) . When they first contacted me to shoot their bridals in Melbourne and their wedding day in Bali, I was, understandably, elated. Not only did I get the chance to work with 2 amazing and gorgeous people in love, I also got a chance to meet all the families again and work with some other wonderful people – Jyue Huey from the Makeup Room, Sam from Simplemotion and our very able intern Jonathan. You may have seen their bridals that I posted some time back, and here is a snippet of the many, many images of love, laughter and dedication I saw on the beautiful island of Bali. To Glenn and Angelin, thank you so much for being you, and for having my welfare on your minds all the time. After shooting hundreds of weddings, I don’t often say this – but this is one wedding that I’m really going to miss! Hand on heart, thank you very much.

Things are so busy year end! I’m backlogged as far back as November in editing. The good news is that wedding season this year is finally ending for me soon. Just one more to go and I can finally concentrate on getting images and albums out :)

I’ve been meaning to blog about the holiday we took to Bali a couple of weeks back. It was a rainy trip (expected since it’s year end), but we ended up still having lots of fun and hanging out with the family. I travelled light too – just 1 camera and 2 lenses heh :)

I don’t think I could’ve asked for more – to be back home safely, to have had Ian and Winnie be as enthusiastic and nice as they were, and to have amazing light in Bali this time round. I can’t be anymore thankful. Shall let the images speak :)

As with Mingfen and Wilson, I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Shooting for AC guys is always a blast and this outing was no different. The fun part was that we tried a couple of different locations from where I would usually shoot, and I’m glad I got images that I really liked! JC and Joyce will be holding their wedding in Bali – hope you guys have lots of fun, and that you’ll have fantastic weather (and maybe a romantic private dinner eh?) ;) .

We did 2 shoots there this week with 2 wonderful couples. I had an enjoyable time shooting Mingfen and Wilson’s bridals – even if the weather wasn’t too co-operative in the later part of the day. They are such a sweet couple made for each other. I always enjoy their bantering and it can get quite brilliant, give that they are both lawyers ;) . Thanks for the moments, and for (obviously) the great food guys!
