Things are so busy year end! I’m backlogged as far back as November in editing. The good news is that wedding season this year is finally ending for me soon. Just one more to go and I can finally concentrate on getting images and albums out :)

I’ve been meaning to blog about the holiday we took to Bali a couple of weeks back. It was a rainy trip (expected since it’s year end), but we ended up still having lots of fun and hanging out with the family. I travelled light too – just 1 camera and 2 lenses heh :)

As with Mingfen and Wilson, I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Shooting for AC guys is always a blast and this outing was no different. The fun part was that we tried a couple of different locations from where I would usually shoot, and I’m glad I got images that I really liked! JC and Joyce will be holding their wedding in Bali – hope you guys have lots of fun, and that you’ll have fantastic weather (and maybe a romantic private dinner eh?) ;) .

We did 2 shoots there this week with 2 wonderful couples. I had an enjoyable time shooting Mingfen and Wilson’s bridals – even if the weather wasn’t too co-operative in the later part of the day. They are such a sweet couple made for each other. I always enjoy their bantering and it can get quite brilliant, give that they are both lawyers ;) . Thanks for the moments, and for (obviously) the great food guys!

As with the previous shoot, it was mighty hot during the day, and rained (heavily at times!) in the afternoon. I’m really glad that they bore with the rain, early start time et all. I think it was well worth it – we managed to catch some good light (and photos, of course) despite the gloomy weather in the afternoon. Thanks guys! Both Kenneth and Lulu are SQ cabin crew. In fact, Kenneth has been there for 18 years! I had so much fun listening to their “encounters” with passengers. Kenneth is one heck of an entertainer – I don’t think there was a bored soul in our car that day :) . Lulu is so bubbly that laughter was not difficult to come about during the shoot. They are both also amazing “change artists” – changing without any hassle in the car…

So thanks guys for a wonderful time – you made the trip so much easier – and I’m sooo looking forward to that stretch limousine! ;) . Oh yeah, thanks so much for dinner at Bumbu!

So who’s Timmy? That would be Samantha the makeup artist’s good monkey friend. Samantha doesn’t seem to hit it off well with the monkeys at Uluwatu. The last time we were there, she had Sharon’s shoe snatched away from her. This time, it was her paper fan that the monkey got. It actually ate it up! Timmy better be careful – I think Sam’s gonna be bringing a parang hehe…
