Bernard and Fann

I don’t think the world can get any smaller. When Fann first contacted me about wedding day photography, I had no idea who her husband Bernard was. When they came by, I was pleasantly surprised because there at the door was Bernard, my school bus mate in primary school some 25 years ago! It was a nice reunion of sorts. Fann is, in my opinion, what a model teacher should be – full of smiles, patient and intelligent. Their wedding day was such a pleasure to shoot – it was such a chill-out affair, everyone was relaxed and the videographer and I were well-taken care of. Ok, maybe Bernard was a bit anxious that he would forget his vows in church ;) .

Just before today’s wedding, I was reading some horror stories of how couples “manage” their wedding day photographers/videographers. Today was a great example of how weddings should be. I’m truly blessed that my couples like Bernard and Fann, go out of the way to take care of us. So for anyone who’s getting married and reading this, look out for your wedding photographer and videographer. We are, afterall, human too :) .

Bernard and Jelissa

It’s been one whirlwind of a month. This is the month that I feel I’ve done some of my best work, and one of the most tiring months that I’ve ever experienced. Just 3 more weddings to go this month and I can go back to clearing the mountain load of albums that begs to be finished.

Bernard and Jelissa’s wedding was held 2 weeks ago (I’m backlogged even on blogging hah!). They are such an easy-going couple who were so easy to shoot. I will remember this wedding as one where I actually started at the cleaners. Jelissa’s parents run a laundry business and a really traditional one at that. The shopfront really reminded me of my childhood days. I don’t the facade has really changed. To prove that Singapore is really so small, I met 2 of my ex-colleagues from my HP days – one is a cousin, and the other a cousin-in-law of the groom!

Anyway, here are some images from the day…get ready to blow your bandwidth! :)
