Edmund and Dawn

I spent last weekend covering Edmund and Dawn’s big day. Edmund and Dawn are one of those couples that I got to know really well because of the time spent covering their ROM, Bridals in New Zealand and eventually their big day last Saturday. They are also some of the nicest folk around – treating me with respect, placing their full trust in me and making sure that I was well taken care of. I am truly, once again, blessed to have yet another wonderful couple to work with! Thanks guys!

Get ready for loads of peektures!

That’s Juliana, singing a surprise song for Edmund and Dawn. She’s got an amazing voice too!

Someone’s not in the mood for drinks ;)

Anthony and Dawn

I was back in the fray just the day after I got back from shooting Edmund and Dawn in NZ. It was a good change for me to switch to wedding day again, and I really enjoyed myself at Anthony and Dawn’s wedding working with Yang and TG. He really does some of the most amazing makeup ever!

In a while, I head off to start a marathon weekend – 3 weddings in 3 days, but with 3 couples that I absolutely adore. I guess that makes the job a lot more fun even if it’s heck of a tiring. The incentive? I get a short break with the family in Bali right after those 3 days heh :) . I’m really looking forward to that!

So here are the images from Anthony and Dawn’s wedding. Thanks so much guys, for making it such a wonderful experience for me!

Kia ora From New Zealand

I just got back to from Queenstown after finishing Edmund and Dawn’s shoot. It’s been a tiring day – I literally fell asleep the entire flight back here to Christchurch. What a shoot it has been! I think the words amazing or unbelievable understates the fun and “work” that we’ve had the past 2 days. I’m truly humbled by the dedication and hard work that couples put into their shoots. Like many past couples that I have shot for, Edmund and Dawn personify these qualities. At the same time, we had such a good time chatting, eating (and occasionally) dozing off in the car on the long drives heh. I’ve not met many people who really know how to have so much fun on a holiday! Don’t play too hard on the rest of your trip guys!

I’m going to miss this shoot, and of course, New Zealand. This is a country with beautiful landscapes. I’ve always held it in high regard, given that landscapes and travel photography has always been my passion. But it was only during this shoot that I realised that it’s equally capable of providing a remarkable backdrop for bridal photography. There are so many images from this shoot that I’m excited about. In fact, whilst back here in the hotel, I was trying to pick out 10 to post on this blog but ended up with more than 60! So here goes 20 of them (I’m keeping the rest as a surprise ;) ) – be warned, it’s 2 image intensive posts!
