I just got back to from Queenstown after finishing Edmund and Dawn’s shoot. It’s been a tiring day – I literally fell asleep the entire flight back here to Christchurch. What a shoot it has been! I think the words amazing or unbelievable understates the fun and “work” that we’ve had the past 2 days. I’m truly humbled by the dedication and hard work that couples put into their shoots. Like many past couples that I have shot for, Edmund and Dawn personify these qualities. At the same time, we had such a good time chatting, eating (and occasionally) dozing off in the car on the long drives heh. I’ve not met many people who really know how to have so much fun on a holiday! Don’t play too hard on the rest of your trip guys!
I’m going to miss this shoot, and of course, New Zealand. This is a country with beautiful landscapes. I’ve always held it in high regard, given that landscapes and travel photography has always been my passion. But it was only during this shoot that I realised that it’s equally capable of providing a remarkable backdrop for bridal photography. There are so many images from this shoot that I’m excited about. In fact, whilst back here in the hotel, I was trying to pick out 10 to post on this blog but ended up with more than 60! So here goes 20 of them (I’m keeping the rest as a surprise
) – be warned, it’s 2 image intensive posts!
