Match Made in Heaven

Or well, at least 35,000ft up in the air ;) . The story goes that Kenneth met Lulu whilst she was still a passenger flying on Singapore Airlines and Kenneth (lo and behold heh) was cabin crew serving her. The rest, as they say, is history. Fast forward to present day – Kenneth is now a Chief Steward and Lulu is also working for the airline. How things take an interesting turn eh?

Anyway, I covered their beautiful wedding over the weekend. It was an intimate affair marked with beautiful decor (especially the beautiful pieces by Harijanto at Boenga), infectious laughter, lots of love, smiles and happiness as the couple wrote a new chapter in their lives together. It was very apparent that Kenneth and Lulu invested a lot of effort in making sure that their day was something that their firends and family, and more importantly, themselves, would remember. It was a tiring day for me but very worthwhile nonetheless! I did strain my back a little since it hadn’t recovered from my previous outing (stupid story for another day!) which was why I think I felt more tired than usual at the end of the evening. I think it showed a bit too (sorry guys!).

Anyway, here’s a trailer of the day :) …Enjoy!

Timmy The Monkey

I had a great time shooting Kenneth and Lulu in Bali. Both Kenneth and Lulu are SQ cabin crew. In fact, Kenneth has been there for 18 years! I had so much fun listening to their “encounters” with passengers. Kenneth is one heck of an entertainer – I don’t think there was a bored soul in our car that day :) . Lulu is so bubbly that laughter was not difficult to come about during the shoot. They are both also amazing “change artists” – changing without any hassle in the car…

So thanks guys for a wonderful time – you made the trip so much easier – and I’m sooo looking forward to that stretch limousine! ;) . Oh yeah, thanks so much for dinner at Bumbu!

So who’s Timmy? That would be Samantha the makeup artist’s good monkey friend. Samantha doesn’t seem to hit it off well with the monkeys at Uluwatu. The last time we were there, she had Sharon’s shoe snatched away from her. This time, it was her paper fan that the monkey got. It actually ate it up! Timmy better be careful – I think Sam’s gonna be bringing a parang hehe…
