I don’t profess to know a lot about King Huei and Samantha, other than the fact that they are really quite chill folks who were looking for a fuss-free day without the hullabaloo that comes with a typical traditional wedding. Brandon and Samantha’s wedding day was one of those that was long – but I never once felt tired even though it was midway through a marathon stretch of weddings and bridals. Their abundant energy levels rubbed off on everyone – from aunties and uncles, to bridesmaids and groomsmen and to us photographer and videographer (who happened to be Why Keen from IchiroFilms). I felt energised at every opportunity to shoot something unique for them. To be frank, it was not difficult because they presented lots of photo opportunities for me. The feather on the cap for me was Brandon performing a suprise piano piece, complete with singing, for Samantha. Why special? Because he has absolutely no knowledge of keyboards and spent a month learning to play and sing that one piece for the love of his life . Enjoy these images and many more on facebook!
I had a great outing with Brandon and Samantha yesterday. The weather didn’t start too well and we were held up slightly by makeup but everything went A-ok after that. Evening light was one of the nicest I’ve shot in Singapore for a long time. Brandon and Samantha are such live-wires – two huge bundles of energy, antics and funny faces.
