Marcus and Yvonne’s Bridals

This very amusing and entertaining couple have everything: the 5Cs, a perfect marriage, and Yu Hsin and I as their photographers! I was fortunate to have them with me in Phuket for the pre-wedding session, while Yu Hsin was their wedding day photographer. Thanks to the shoot (and them), we got to see many parts of Phuket, which otherwise we would have overlooked. It’s really a beautiful island, and in terms of ranking it as a bridal-shoot location, it’s up there, if not surpassing another perennial favourite—Bali. //kc

Kwok Ying and Meifang’s Bridals

Meifang has to be one of the nicest and most capable doctors I’ve met (plus all the others that I’ve shot for hah!). Kwok Ying, the unassuming other half, is equally capable and the 2 together were a lethal combination at putting me at ease during our bridal shoot. To be frank, I don’t interact very well with doctors – in part because of my bad experiences (not wedding-related!) with some in the past. Kwok Ying and Meifang are so very different! Absolutely no airs and absolutely easy to get along with. I was particularly touched by the fact that Meifang took time (albeit just SMSes) to ask about my bad back when I ruptured a disc a few weeks ago. If I ever needed an anaesthetist, she’d be one of the few people I can absolutely depend on . Here are some images from the shoot, with more on facebook!

Andre and Dan Lin’s Bridals

To be frank, I was a little apprehensive before Andre and Dan Lin’s bridal photography session because I’d been spending quite a bit of time nursing Clarisse who was sick at home and wasn’t exactly in the inspired frame of mind. But I’m really glad that they are oozed with enthusiasm the moment we met at the first stop. It was so easy shooting them and whatever reservations I had about my creativity department vanished within the first 10 minutes. I was really happy to have produced photos that I was really happy with for an amazing couple. Besides, they had 2 really cool friends who tagged along for the bridal photography shoot. Thanks very much guys for being such good sport and giving your 110%. I’m really looking forward to your ROM and wedding day! In the meantime, enjoy the images. Brandon and Samantha

I had a great outing with Brandon and Samantha yesterday. The weather didn’t start too well and we were held up slightly by makeup but everything went A-ok after that. Evening light was one of the nicest I’ve shot in Singapore for a long time. Brandon and Samantha are such live-wires – two huge bundles of energy, antics and funny faces. I couldn’t help shooting more “fun” shots than normal. Enjoy the images…there’s a lot more at the Facebook page!
