Matthew and Sharon

I’ve got to admit – I was quite looking forward to shooting Matthew and Sharon’s wedding because I could see my ACS/ACJC Chinese teachers again after almost 20 years :) . Sharon’s mom was the Chinese HOD at ACJC. Chinese teachers in AC have a tough job to be frank – maybe that’s why they tend to tolerate less nonsense from the kids (read they are fierce! heh:)). So you can understand why it was a bit unnerving to shoot the wedding. I shoot journalistically afterall, and I wasn’t sure if it would go down well with the folks.

Anyway, it was quite a day for me. I had a fantastic day (despite a small boo-boo in the middle ;) ) with Matthew and Sharon ever so nice and obliging. Matthew is one of those really humble and easy-going AC guys that I would have been good friends with if we were nearly the same age (NOT, I’m so much younger hahahaha). Sharon, quite the planner and the meticulous one, complements Matthew so well. Such a chill couple :)

So it’s not surprising that this would be yet ANOTHER bumper post – so bumper in fact, that I’m going to split the post up into 2 – there are 25 images in total – so get ready to blow your bandwidth!

Everybody was Kungfu fighting!

Appreciate it…I ran a lot to get this shot!

Love and Pain

I’ve been suffering the effects of a gastric flu since Friday. It’s been tough because I’ve been getting these spasms at intervals. Not the easiest of tasks to be creative when that happens heh!

Jason and Angie’s wedding finally came to pass yesterday. Sometimes, you get to meet people that you hit off well immediately from the first meeting. Jason and Angie were one of those couples. Since then, we’ve gotten to know each other much better – the last being the shoot I did in Perth with them. Actually, the Perth trip was supposed to be a secret so that most of their friends didn’t even know – I guess I messed it up by blogging about it hah.

The wedding went well yesterday and I managed to catch some really beautiful moments. Here’s some of them!
