Jobie and Joanelle

I had been looking forward to shooting Jobie and Joanelle’s wedding since they booked me over a year ago on one of their trips back here from the States where they are based. They are such a fun couple and can always been seen wearing their impish smiles and fooling around with their friends and family. Their wedding here was a simple affair, after a huge wedding in Manila. Dino Lara, whom I got to meet at the WPN seminar a few months back, shot their wedding in Manila. I also got to see their wedding video which left me in awe. I didn’t think that wedding day videos could look like that here in Southeast Asia. You can take a look at it here. It left me inspired to become a wedding videographer hah!

I’ve put together a slideshow of the dinner. Although not in the same scale of grandeur-ness (is that even such a word??) as the one Dino shot, I thought it was warm and cosy dinner. Enjoy the HUGE slideshow, and have a good trip back home guys! ;)

Love and Pain

I’ve been suffering the effects of a gastric flu since Friday. It’s been tough because I’ve been getting these spasms at intervals. Not the easiest of tasks to be creative when that happens heh!

Jason and Angie’s wedding finally came to pass yesterday. Sometimes, you get to meet people that you hit off well immediately from the first meeting. Jason and Angie were one of those couples. Since then, we’ve gotten to know each other much better – the last being the shoot I did in Perth with them. Actually, the Perth trip was supposed to be a secret so that most of their friends didn’t even know – I guess I messed it up by blogging about it hah.

The wedding went well yesterday and I managed to catch some really beautiful moments. Here’s some of them!

Yesterday Again

Time flies. It’s hard to fathom that I shot Alfred and Claire’s solemnization at the Raffles Hotel more than a year ago. It seemed like just yesterday when I was there at Raffles Lawn covering their event.

Our paths did cross again on Friday when I got the chance to document the wedding day. I wasn’t sure that it was going to happen initially because I was already shooting Jason and Angie’s wedding (next post) on the day that Claire originally wanted. I’m glad that it did eventually happen cos Claire moved her wedding day, and everything worked out quite well!

Here are some of the images from their highlights for today’s lunch…
