For some reason, words are failing me. Wilson and Joanne must be one of the coolest couples I’ve worked with. Not just in their trust in me or their good nature. What struck me the most was dedication to each other, to their familes and their attention to little details for their wedding day. I was truly touched when they even had a slideshow at the banquet to thank the people that made a difference in their wedding day and lives – not a credit roll mind you – but a full page with my photo!

Thanks guys, for a wonderful time, and for your patience. I am grateful to have you guys as friends. Yang (the videographer) and I were just saying that the thoughtful touch of that slideshow was enough for us to work a little bit harder, run a little bit faster during dinner – so I shot 6 more images – just for you (kidding!) .

Seriously though, the only way I know of to reciprocate that faith is by coming up with this slideshow – dedicated just to you. Enjoy!

Weather

It’s been raining on and off the past few days and that got me pretty worried since it was Wilson and Joanne’s bridals yesterday. Amazingly though, we managed to avoid any downpour and cloudy skies. In fact, we had beautiful light, blue skies and very very hot weather . I think it could possibly be attributed to the sunny character of both Wilson and Joanne – perhaps even TG, who did the fantastic makeup and hair, too! As with all my bridals, I had a whole lot of fun and hilarious moments, got to shoot at new (and old!) locations and pretty much enjoyed myself. We even had a big part of the family – sis, dad, mum, friends, uncle, aunty to provide moral and service support – all in the name of good weather and fun

Legally Bound

I shot Wilson and Mingfen’s wedding day some time back. Prior to that, we did a bridal in Bali so we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well. Although they are both lawyers , both of them are really one of the world’s nicest people – warm, chatty, generous and a lot more! I thoroughly enjoyed covering both their pre-wed and wedding day even though – I must admit – it quite drained me out on wedding day because I had to rush highlights in an extremely short period of time. Nonetheless, I’m glad the pictures turned out the way they did – exactly like how Ming and Wilson are – warm, chatty and generous . I tell people that I meet everywhere that fancy locations, beautiful settings, favours et all don’t alone make a beautiful wedding – beautiful people do. Ming and Wilson has proven it right once again .

Thanks for the memories guys, and enjoy your uber LONG honeymoon!

Bali Redux

I’m back from shooting in Bali! We did 2 shoots there this week with 2 wonderful couples. I had an enjoyable time shooting Mingfen and Wilson’s bridals – even if the weather wasn’t too co-operative in the later part of the day. They are such a sweet couple made for each other. I always enjoy their bantering and it can get quite brilliant, give that they are both lawyers . Thanks for the moments, and for (obviously) the great food guys!
